Dr. Saira Kazmi, a dynamic and accomplished academic, researcher, and columnist, is currently serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Riphah International University and Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad, Pakistan. With a Ph.D. in Linguistics (Media Discourse) from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, along with several other prestigious degrees in Political Science, International Relations, and Communication Sciences, Dr. Kazmi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her diverse roles. Specializing in Critical Discourse Analysis, Systemic Functional Linguistics, and Attitude Analysis, she has published numerous articles in esteemed academic journals and actively contributes to the discourse on various societal issues in Pakistan and beyond. Dr. Kazmi’s expertise extends beyond academia, as she has also held significant positions in institutes like the Institute of Peace & Development, where she currently serves as the Additional Secretary General, and has been recognized with awards such as the ‘Books for Peace’ International Special Award and the ‘Most Inspiring Woman of the Earth’ Award.
