🎓 Education :
🎓 In 2015, I embarked on a postdoctoral journey at the Information Use Management and Policy Institute within the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine at the College of Medicine, Florida State University. This experience followed my successful completion of a Ph.D. in 2014 at the same institution, where my major was Information Studies and my minor focused on Health Sciences and Clinical Practice. Under the guidance of Dr. Don Latham and with the support of my esteemed committee members—Drs. Melissa Gross, Mia Lustria, and Robert Glueckauf—I explored the realm of health information literacy among undergraduate students in my dissertation titled “Interacting with health information for self-care: An exploratory study of undergraduate students’ health information literacy.” 📚 My academic journey also includes earning an M.L.S. from the University at Buffalo in 2007, with a major in Library Science. Prior to that, I obtained an M.A. in International Information Management from Tianjin Foreign Studies University in 2001 and a B.S. in Archives Management from Tianjin Normal University in 1990. 🌐 This diverse educational background has shaped my expertise in the intersection of information studies, health sciences, and clinical practice.
