Prior to that, academic achievements include an M.A. in International Information Management from Tianjin Foreign Studies University in 2001 and a B.S. in Archives Management from Tianjin Normal University in 1990. 🎓 In 2015, I embarked on a postdoctoral journey at the Information Use Management and Policy Institute within the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine at the College of Medicine, Florida State University. This experience followed my successful completion of a Ph.D. in 2014 at the same institution, where my major was Information Studies and my minor focused on Health Sciences and Clinical Practice. Under the guidance of Dr. Don Latham and with the support of my esteemed committee members—Drs. Melissa Gross, Mia Lustria, and Robert Glueckauf—I explored the realm of health information literacy among undergraduate students in my dissertation titled “Interacting with health information for self-care: An exploratory study of undergraduate students’ health information literacy.” 📚 My academic journey also includes earning an M.L.S. from the University at Buffalo in 2007, with a major in Library Science. PROFESSIONAL   EXPERIENCE:

👩‍🏫 Joining the academic realm, I currently serve as an Associate Professor at the School of Library and Information Management at ESU since 2021. My journey in academia began in 2015 when I assumed the role of Assistant Professor at the same institution, where I continued to contribute to the field until 2021. Prior to my academic endeavors, I delved into postdoctoral research as a member of the Information Use Management and Policy Institute at FSU, exploring the intricate intersection of information and healthcare. 📚 Venturing back to the early 2000s, I held a significant role as the Associate Executive Director of Tianjin Medical University Libraries in China from 2000 to 2004. In the preceding years, I dedicated myself to the preservation of knowledge and history as the Director of Archives at Tianjin Medical University Archives from 1996 to 2000 and as an Archivist from 1990 to 1996. 🌐 This diverse professional journey has allowed me to contribute meaningfully to both the academic and archival landscapes, bridging the realms of information management, healthcare, and education.
