Prof. Insun Yeom, Sungshin Women’s University , South Korea 

Dr. Insun Yeom is a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for nursing and research. She embarked on her academic journey at Chungnam National University College of Nursing in Deajeon, Korea, where she earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree. Building upon her foundational education, she pursued further studies, obtaining a Master of Nursing Science from Yonsei University and ultimately completing her Doctor of Nursing Science degree at Korea University.

With over two decades of clinical experience, Dr. Yeom has served in various capacities at Severance Hospital, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea. From her early years as a nurse to her role as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Pediatric Neurosurgery, she has demonstrated her commitment to providing high-quality care to patients and families.

Dr. Yeom’s career has evolved beyond clinical practice into the realm of research and academia. She has taken on pivotal roles as a Researcher, Research Director at the National Research Foundation of Korea, and Research Professor at the College of Nursing, Yonsei University. Her dedication to advancing nursing knowledge and improving patient outcomes is evident in her scholarly contributions.

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Sungshin Women’s University, Seoul, Korea, Dr. Yeom continues to inspire and educate the next generation of nurses. Her fields of special medical interest include Chronic Disease, Adolescent Health, and Neurological Disorders. Through her expertise and passion for nursing, Dr. Yeom remains a driving force in the pursuit of excellence in healthcare delivery and research.
