Junyi Lu ...is a current Ph.D. student at the School of Design, Jiangnan University, majoring in Design Studies. He obtained a master's degree in Design Studies from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2021. He has engaged in projects related to user experience and film packaging and has won digital media design awards at the university, city, provincial, and national levels.
He has conducted research in the field of Accessibility Design for blind and elderly individuals, using a combination of Interaction Design and Emotional Design methods to enhance their user experience with smart devices. His current research interests encompass Affective design and Data Visualization, with a dedication to exploring interdisciplinary research approaches in design and Human-computer Interaction. In a recent study, he attempted to utilize negative emotions in elderly individuals to identify design flaws in assistive tools on mobile devices and hopes to continue using emotions as a guide to establish the connection between user interaction behavior and design issues in his future research."
