Dr. Bhukya Padma is an Assistant Professor at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) in Manipal, Karnataka, India, where she has been serving since January 2024. With a strong academic background, she earned her Ph.D. in IoT and Blockchain from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, Telangana, in December 2023. Prior to her doctoral studies, she completed her M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Kakatiya University, Warangal, and her B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the same university. Dr. Padma’s research interests lie at the intersection of Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain technologies, focusing on enhancing security and efficiency in IoT networks.
Throughout her academic journey, Dr. Padma has contributed significantly to her field through her research and publications. She has authored several peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals such as Elsevier, Springer, and MDPI, covering topics ranging from secure communication protocols to threat intelligence systems in IoT networks. Notably, her research has been recognized for its innovative approaches in enhancing the security and reliability of IoT systems.
In addition to her scholarly pursuits, Dr. Padma has also demonstrated her teaching abilities through her roles as a lecturer at various institutions. Prior to joining MIT, she worked as a lecturer at TSWRDC in Jangoan and Mahabubabad, where she imparted knowledge and fostered the academic growth of her students.
